Replacing Sky Q Hub with go0d-quality router (UK I have seen a few posts elsewhere about the Netgear D6400 being a solid mid-range replacement but happy to take advice. We use of data and regularly have multiple devices streaming at the same time (whilst I use powerline adapters for my PCs). Would love both router recommendations and tips on setup when replacing the Sky Q Hub if anyone has them! Aug 25, 2014 · Need to replace my old Sky sagem router. If I buy one from ebay, do I use my existing sky id/pw or do I use the one that I bought it to replace the Sky Hub SR102 router, but have been unable to get my sky fibre connection to work with the D7800. Is this not possible? I like what I read about the router, but its way overpriced to simply use as a wireless router. Can the router be made to work with sky fibre, or will I have to return it? I like my Sky BB but the wireless signal is pretty weak upstairs. I've been impressed with signal strength friends get with the BT Home Hub routers - seems 10x more powerful than my Sky Netgear router. Today, I picked up a BT Home Hub router and I was wondering if I could now use it to replace my Netgear router?

Okay so I'm pretty underwhelmed by the sky Q router so I've ordered a Netgear D7000 with hopes of replacing the Q router, I can find lots of guides and info on replacing the sr102 fibre router but nothing about the Q variant, is it possible and if so what's the procedure?
